Henry Ridgely Evans, fue un ilusionista estadounidense, especializado en historia de la magia.
Biografía
Evans estudió derecho en la Universidad de Maryland, Estados Unidos, tras licenciarse, abrió un bufete de abogados en la ciudad de Baltimore, Maryland, Estados Unidos, pero pronto lo abandonó para dedicarse al periodismo.
Ha publicado artículos en los periódicos de Baltimore The Evening News, Day y Times.
Evans estaba principalmente interesado en el espiritismo y llevó a cabo un trabajo muy importante. Publicó sus hallazgos y resultados en su libro de 1897 Hours with the Ghosts Or, Nineteenth Century Witchcraft: Illustrated investigations into the phenomena of spiritualism and theosophy.
